Dawn Vaningan, an Environmental Services Technician, has been nominated as our July Employee of the Month, by many of our CNAs and RNs. She has worked with us for a little over five years and says her favorite thing about working here is, “a tie between getting to know the residents and helping them and the coworkers I now think of as friends.”
Kevin Larson, Administrator and CEO, says “Dawn is an excellent selection for Employee of the Month! She is certainly a person that is always concerned about the residents and whom residents depend on for many things. Dawn’s calm and confident manner, even when things can get a little hectic or busy, is always appreciated.” Ginnie Prechel, Director of Nursing, echoes, “She does a great job! She is well liked by staff and residents alike.”
A few fun facts about Dawn include that she owns a rescue cat named Chloe, has always dreamed about going to Australia and her favorite foods are “pretty much anything breakfast related or ice cream.”
